Friends staying with me in VaranasiIndia, much like Nepal, has a lower standard of comfort and cleanliness than Europe. Of course with that comes lower prices. I had great times in these hostels and guesthouses. I hope you do too.

Comfortable Room, Nice small restaurant, friendly staff, very good location walking distance to the Taj Mahal, surprisingly social atmosphere.
Incredible place. Real homemad Indian meals. Incredible staff and atmosphere. out of this world rooftop over looking the Ganges. To top it all off a much needed charitable organization. Stay here!
